Before applying for any visa, you must have a valid International passport as you cannot leave the country without it.
Just like other countries, to secure a visa to Dubai, your International Passport must be valid for at least 60 days.
Copies of all your documents as well as passport photographs must also be presented.
This goes with purchasing of getting the visa application and fill them in, including appending your signature.
You will also be asked to present a copy of an itinerary (round trip tickets).
Note that if you are visiting Dubai and you do not have a return ticket, you might be denied entry into the city.
Your health status would also be confirmed, hence you need proof of health insurance.
To be sure that you have what it takes to take care of yourself when you get there, there would be a need to present a proof of a statement of account (that of a sponsor can also be presented.)
If hotel reservations have been made, a copy of proof would be needed as well.
There are different types of visas issued to Dubai and these types are determined by the intending duration of stay in the country. They are:
96-Hour Visa, 14-Day Visa, 30-Day Visa, and 90-Day Visa.
You have a limited duration of time to travel when issued the 30-Day tourist visa because it is valid for 58 days, starting from the day of issuance.
You can get to process your Dubai visa at:
VFS Global, Manor House, Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Opposite Treasure Garden Estate, 3rd Roundabout, Lekki-
Epe Expressway, Lekki Phase I, Lagos.
or you can simply visit: https://www.gtbank.com/personal-banking/services/e-banking/dubai-visa to process your visa from the comfort of your home.
