The cost of Turkey Tourist Visa application for any Nigerian willing to visit Turkey is $100, approximately N36,000. Turkey Student Visa goes for $80 approximately N29, 022.06 while the Turkey Business Visa can be obtained with nothing less than $120 approximately N43, 533.09 in Nigeria equivalent.
The Turkey Transit Visa, on the other hand, goes for $20 (N7, 255.51).
Turkey e-visa and Cost
As of April 2013, the Turkish government launched an easy online visa system that issues an e-Visa instead of the old “sticker visa”.
Once the information and payment is submitted, the visa is emailed to the traveler and must be downloaded and printed out.
Basically, the e-Visa should be shown to airport authorities and customs officials in Turkey and kept safe for the duration of stay.
The e-Visa means no more going to local embassies or waiting in line at the airport to obtain a visa.
Nigerians can obtain the Turkey e-visa at the cost of $35 and above aside additional charges and you can pay for it using a credit or debit card.
You can apply at least 48 hours before travel and up to three months in advance of your travel date.
How Much Will A Turkish Visa Cost in 2020
Turkish immigration authorities accept a compulsory fee payment from Nigerian travelers before processing and issuing the Turkey visa. This is called the Turkey visa fee. This sum of money is neither refundable nor transferable.
Turkey visa charge for 2020 depends on the category you are applying for.
The lowest is the Turkey transit visa which costs $20 with other additional charges during registration and the highest is the Turkey Business Visa which costs $120 (N43, 533.09).
Note: Turkish Visit Visas issued on arrival are valid for multiple stays up to a maximum of 90 days in a 180 day period.

To get a valid Turkish Visa as a Nigerian, the following documents are required for a successful visa application.
These documents are:
- Valid Nigerian Passport (valid for 90 days longer than the requested visa)
- A Duly filled application form
- Passport-size photos

- Proof of health insurance
- Evidence of payment of visa application fee
- Documentation of financial capacity
- Visa processing fee (varies depending on visa type and your nationality).
How Long is Turkish Visa Valid For?
A valid Turkish visa is valid for 180 days, approximately 6 months.
Process of Applying for Turkish Visa in Nigeria?
The process of applying for a Turkish visa is simple.
- Firstly, pay for your application fee, then go to the embassy for your appointment and submit any additional outstanding documents as listed above at the Turkish Embassy in Abuja.
- After this, you will be required to pay a processing fee before your visa will be issued to you or couriered to you from Abuja.
